BBQ Brisket

BBQ Brisket

1 brisket (trim as much fat off as you can get) … WASH WELL!!!

1 large Onion

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

BBQ sauce as needed

Place clean brisket in pot and cover with water. Add quartered onion, garlic and salt. Cook until brisket is tender. Remove from water and let drain. Chop brisket (using culinary scissors to cut brisket is easiest) Add desired amount of BBQ sauce (Hines original is best) Simmer in pot on stove.

Make brisket sandwiches! Great for church BBQ fundraisers.
