Buttermilk Pie
2 shallow pie shells
½ cup of butter or margarine
2 cups of sugar
3 TBS Flour
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp Vanilla
Dash of nutmeg
Have butter soft, add sugar and mix well. Add flour and eggs and beat well. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, and nutmeg. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes.
***Pie is best if the top cracks open…however it doesn’t always crack open.
