Peanut Brittle
3 cups of Sugar
½ cup of water
1 cup of Karo Syrup (white)
Bring to boil in a 4 quart pot.
Pour in 3 cups of Peanuts. Cook until slight color change, you can hear peanuts popping. It kinda looks like it thickens but not really :-D
1 TBL Slice of Margarine
1 TBL of soda
And Dash of salt
Mix Soda and Salt together. Pour Soda, salt and Butter in to syrupy mixture. The Mixture will turn a white looking color and look kinda like foam….STIR CONTANTLY until done (a golden color).
Pour into well GREASED 8 inch pie pans and pat out.
Cool and remove from pan and place into air tight zip lock bag.
