Chocolate Peppermint Cookies

Chocolate Peppermint Cookies

2 cups of butter shortening

2 cups of sugar

4 eggs

4 tsp of vanilla

5 cups of flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

Cream shortening and sugar. Then add eggs and vanilla. Mix flour baking powder and salt. Add to creamy mixture. Continue adding extra flour till rolling well.

Or you can save time by buying 2 rolls of sugar cookie dough.

Split dough into 2 halves. To one half add a Tablespoon of Vanilla and a ½ pound of Heresy Chocolate Bar (melted). Roll out. To the other half add a Tablespoon of peppermint extract and a hand full of crushed soft peppermint. Roll out. Place the rolled out peppermint mixture on the Rolled out Chocolate mixture and roll dough up into a log. Place in Refrigerator for 2 hours. Slice and cook in oven at 350 for 15 mins.
